SMP FASTeners

Our company was established 1959 when our existing chairman Mr.Yrjц Kiuru started to manufacture wooden coat racks for building companies. Early 1960:es the production was expanded to wooden packings. One of our first customer was Nokia Elektroniikka Oy (nowadays Nokia Networks). Today the production is 90% plywood packings for export industry.

At present our main branch of activity are fastenings. Fastening business was started on year 1969 (by our other company Stainless Oy). We also had two supplementary business names SUOMEN PULTTI and SMP FASTeners.

Administration and sales are 100% taken care from our main office in Helsinki where our stock is also located only 3 km from city center of Helsinki.

Our company Suomen Metallipuu Oy was divided into two parts Suomen Metallipuu Oy is taking care of our packing manufacturing and Suomen Pultti Oy is taking care of fastening business.
